COVID-19

19 July means that legal restrictions are lifted but safety guidance remains.    The most immediate change is that the clubhouse can again be open for wider access for club members.    However, we are all warned that the threat posed by Covid-19 is still there and we are all required to use common sense to minimise risk.      Although the venue’s QR code on the club window is still active, there is no need to log every visit

From 19th July the Club will be again be open as normal in accordance with the Government’s roadmap and LTA’s guidance

WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR CLUB ACTIVITY?

  • All tennis can resume as normal
  • Clubhouse can again be used
  • HOWEVER   as we are constantly being reminded the threat is still very much there:
    • To minimise physical contact,
    • Minimise touching multi-use surfaces
    • Retain a degree of social distancing
  • FINALLY, IF YOU SHOW ANY COVID SYMPTOMS, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER OR USE THE CLUB FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS and proceed with NHS guidance on reporting/isolating

ENJOY YOUR TENNIS!
